With over 35 years experience in Executive recruitment, working for some of the largest local and more recently global players in the Executive Recruitment industry RHA was set up to offer a specialised Executive Recruitment and Search capability to the QLD marketplace.

Having worked with multinational organisations, professional service firms, entrepreneurial businesses, private equity firms, family owned companies GOC’s and not for profit organisations – the one constant is the need to make insightful decisions about people, to ensure ongoing competitive advantage. Providing certainty around the process of hiring the right people is what has sustained the business and the platform on which we will continue to work with organisation’s whether large or small, local or global.

We focus solely on completing retained search or selection assignments.  Strategically we will only work with limited companies in any one sector otherwise the ability to offer a ‘true’ search capability when needed, is impossible. We develop long-term relationships with our clients believing that both parties benefit from the development of an in-depth understanding of each other’s capabilities, and long-term strategies and goals.  We treat the proprietary knowledge developed during the course of our engagements as a sacred trust.

Rona Horsfall

Rona Horsfall - Director RHA Search Rona was born and raised in Brisbane and educated at Clayfield College. She worked briefly in Brisbane before moving to Sydney and later Melbourne where she spent a number of years working in both Media and Account Service roles with George Patterson Advertising. The past 20 years have been spent in the executive recruitment industry across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. She started the Sales, Marketing and Communications Practice in Melbourne for one of Australia’s leading Human Resource Consultancies and successfully led this and built an extremely loyal base of high profile organisations within the FMCG, Property and Financial Services Sectors. She returned to Brisbane three years ago having relocated to set up the Brisbane office for one of the global leaders in executive recruitment.  She founded RHA Search and Selection in late 2008.

Utilising her broad commercial background and in-depth search and consulting experience, Rona continues to partner with clients – providing executive search and selection capability across Industry sectors for specialist executive appointments. Rona’s broad consulting expertise and corporate experience allow her to work successfully at the senior level with a broad range of clients. Her successes include senior executive appointments for leading ASX listed corporations, and private companies within Australia.

In addition to her senior executive search and consulting assignments, Rona is frequently invited to speak and consult on the topics of personal and corporate leadership; decision making; organisational development; performance counseling and related management issues. She has received many awards globally and locally for her commitment to providing outstanding quality of service to both clients and candidates. Rona is a current member of the RCSA and AICD.

Celia Jones - Director RHA Search

Celia Jones was born and raised in Brisbane, attending All Hallows Girls School before training at the Royal Brisbane Hospital as a Registered Nurse. After a period of time travelling in Europe and working in marketing for Polygram Records, she graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 1995 with a Bachelor of International Business.

Celia then joined Australia’s biggest human resource company in Australia, Morgan and Banks. Across a ten year association with this company Celia recruited mid to senior level roles across the industrial, pharmaceutical and finance industries in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Major companies she has dealt with through this experience include Suncorp Metway, British Petroleum and Merck Sharp and Dome. In 2004 she went back to university to study a Master of Journalism which she graduated with top faculty honours. From here she worked with the Australian Broadcasting Commission as rural media presenter across several locations in regional Queensland.  

Moving to Singapore in 2007 to  resume her Executive Recruitment career, Celia specialised for three years in the Energy/ Oil and Gas and Infrastructure Sectors and has successfully completed assignments across marketing, management and commercial communications for companies including International Oil Companies, EPCC’s, Mining and Power companies, and suppliers of upstream and downstream systems and product.

Celia relocated her young family back to Queensland in 2008 to join Rona Horsfall at RHA Search.

Her interests outside of work include the management of a small drought master stud in the Noosa Hinterland which she co-owns with her siblings, where she also indulges her passion for quarter horses and early morning swims at Noosa.
